Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

Deadline to Apply: Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

The Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc. will be awarding one Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship during the 2025-2026 school year. The scholarship provides full tuition for four years of undergraduate study leading to a baccalaureate degree, all required fees and up to $900 per year for required books and equipment at an Indiana public or private college/university.

Application Requirements:

•Must be a resident of Switzerland County, Indiana
•Must be a current senior graduating by the end of June 2026 with a diploma from Switzerland County High School, an accredited Indiana high school
•Must have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.5
•Must be pursuing an Academic Honors Diploma
•Must intend to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at a public or private nonprofit college or university in Indiana accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
•Financial Need:  Must complete the Saving for College Financial Aid Calculator and submit results to the Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc.
•Activities (community service, school activities & work experience) are taken into consideration
•Essay required
•Must participate in a monitored, 45-minute writing session
