Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

Deadline to apply: Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

The Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc. will be awarding one Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship during the 2023-2024 school year. The scholarship provides full tuition for four years of undergraduate study leading to a baccalaureate degree, all required fees and up to $900 per year for required books and equipment at an Indiana public or private college/university.

Application Requirements:

•Must be a resident of Switzerland County, Indiana
•Must be a current senior graduating by the end of June 2024 with a diploma from Switzerland County High School, an accredited Indiana high school
•Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
•Must be pursuing an Academic Honors Diploma
•Must intend to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at a public or private nonprofit college or university in Indiana accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
•Must apply to only one community foundation for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship
•Financial Need:  Must complete the College Board’s EFC Calculator and submit results to the Community Foundation of Switzerland County Inc.
•Activities (community service, school activities & work experience) are taken into consideration
•Essay required
•Must participate in a monitored, 45-minute writing session
